Welcome and hello.

Hi all!  In the last couple of months I've found a new love and hobby..woodworking.  I am a full-time wife, mom, worker, student among other things.  I was never into Pinterest or other craft sites until I completed an anniversary gift.  This idea was completely by accident.  My husband and I decided we were going to sell our rental home.  Upon making this decision this left us with little disposable income after two mortgages on the first of every month.  Our 5th anniversary was rolling around and it was our "real" first milestone for me.  I wanted something traditional (5 years is wood) and decided to make something.  I started looking online and couldn't find anything I liked.

I decided to check out Ana White's wonderful website (ana-white.com) and found a corner cabinet I loved.  Out of the blue I was determined to make this.  It was quite pretentious of me considering I had never put anything together outside of the occasional store bought book shelf and had never touched a saw in my life.  Nevertheless, it cost $100 to make and came out wonderful.  After doing this I realized how much joy this brought to me.  I have created this blog to share the projects I've made (and future ones).  Hopefully I can help to inspire others and continue to inspire myself.
